Our vision is to inspire, empower and support the women of Wesley Church in Christian faith, mission and leadership.

Our mission is to unite the women of Wesley Church for the purpose of encouraging fellowship, supporting creativity, and empowering and sustaining spiritual growth in order to involve our community of Christian women in ministry, local and global mission, service and leadership.

UMW

United Methodist Women are part of every local United Methodist Church. We embrace the traditional purpose “to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.” Part of the mission of Women @ Wesley is to “unite,” embracing the traditional meaning of membership to “be open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the Church through United Methodist Women.” Connect with Karen.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We meet several times a month to create knitted and crocheted shawls for babies and adults who are baptized, and for adults who are facing surgery. Every person entering the Hospice center of the Visiting Nurses Association of St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem receives a Prayer Shawl. Connect with Sylvia.

Snuggles Ministry

We make children’s fleece blankets! Come help us wrap children in need in soft, warm, long lasting fleece. All you need is a pair of pinking shears, two pieces of fleece 1.5 yard long, in coordinating colors, straight pins and a pair of willing hands. We’ll show you how to do the rest! The blankets are given to children entering the emergency shelter of New Bethany Ministries. Connect with Barbara.
