Ministries
The focal point of ministry in the local church is helping God make disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this most faithfully when we are balanced in those ministries that nurture our faith and allow us to witness to the love of God in our world through sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and serving others in his holy name.
Our ministries to children, youth, young adults and adults focus on forming people as a faith community and as disciples in their individual lives. Our nurturing ministries include offering our adoration to God in song and prayer as a Sunday morning people who celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and in being equipped to live a devotional life every day. Our witnessing ministries include a proclamation of the new life we have in Jesus Christ through our encounters with the Holy Scriptures and the Sacraments as a Sunday morning people and in our individual devotion to other means of grace such as fasting, prayer, Bible Study, and small and large group spiritual practices experiences.
