How many come on Sunday mornings? About 200 come to each of our Celebration Services.

What should I wear to your church? Whatever is comfortable for you. Folks wear blue jeans, business suits, high heels, sneakers. Just be clean!

When does Sunday School meet? During the school year, our Sunday morning classes meet at 9:45 a.m. for 45 minutes. , During our 10:45 a.m. Celebration Service , we invite children ages 4 through Fifth grade to leave the Sanctuary with a teacher and go to Celebration Too!

Can I list a prayer request? During both of our Celebration Services, we invite you to write out a prayer request ~ either a joy or a concern. These are read aloud, and printed in the Sunday morning bulletin for the next Sunday services. You can request prayers from our Prayer Team by writing to this address.

How do I contact the preschool? You can call the church office or connect with the director, Tracy.

Who can take Holy Communion in your church? In a United Methodist Church, every baptized person is invited to come to the table.

Is your building available for community meetings? Yes. Call the church administrator at 610-865-5715 to find out about scheduling and costs.

Why are you named Wesley? John Wesley began preaching in the streets in England. And that led to creating a new kind of church. His brother, Charles Wesley, wrote thousands of hymns. Our name is from them.

How can I get my child baptized? Those desiring baptism for themselves or their children should contact our pastor and make the necessary arrangements. At Wesley Church, we hold Baptism Sundays bi-monthly on the second Sundays in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Baptisms are usually held during the 10:45 a.m. Celebration Service. The pastor holds a Baptism Conference on the Saturday morning before the baptisms to discuss the theology and practice of baptism. Adult candidates, parents and sponsors are expected to attend.

Can I have my wedding in your church? We are excited to share our wedding ministry with a wide and diverse population in the Lehigh Valley. We will serve you so that your wedding will be a deeply spiritual experience, whether you are celebrating your wedding in your church home or entering a church for the first time in many years or for the first time ever. Wesley Church does not "rent" the facilities for the purpose of weddings that do not include the ministry of this local church.

Who created such a beautiful stained glass window? The center part, the one with Jesus standing in a garden, is a Tiffany window that’s a hundred years old. We brought it to this address from our old address. The surrounding window was created for this building and was made by Plumstead Studios in Plumstead, PA.
