Preschool

Wesley’s Circle of Friends Preschool is a ministry to the community for children and families. Our mission is to respond to the needs of young children and families by providing a safe, nurturing Christian environment and by offering learning through play experiences and age-appropriate activities. Wesley’s Circle of Friends Preschool (WCOF) is designed for children ages 3 months to 4 years. The program provides children the opportunity to play with other children the same age, make new friends and learn how to interact with others.

Admission

Fall registration begins the previous January. Connect with the director Tracy. Download the registration form. A Child Health Assessment form must be completed by your child’s pediatrician. Download a printable form. Registration fees are $50.00 for each child.

Openings still available for the 2012-2013 season in YOUNG 2-YEAR-OLDS, THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND FOUR-YEAR-OLDS.

Rates

Infant/Toddler Class and Young Two Year Old Class

  • 1 day/wk: $80.00/month
  • 2 days/wk: $130.00/month
  • 3 days/wk: $180.00/month
  • 4 days/wk: $230.00/month
  • 5 days/wk: $275.00/month

Older Twos, Threes, and Four Year old Classes

  • 2 days/wk: $160.00/month
  • 3 days/wk: $210.00/month
  • 5 days/wk: $340.00/month

Extended Care: $7.00/hr (minimum enrollment required)

Programs

Infant/ Toddler Class: 

  • M-F Class: 9:30 a.m.- noon
  • You may choose from 1 to 5 days a week.

Young Two Year Old Class: 

  • MWF Class: 9:30 – noon
  • TTH Class: 9:30 a.m.- noon

Older Two Year Old Class: 

  • MWF Class: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • You may choose 2 or 3 days a week 

Threes and Fours Class: 

  • MWF Class: 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
  • TTH Class: 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
  • M-F Class: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • You may choose 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days a week

Staff Requirements

Wesley Circle of Friends hires teachers with education degrees and at least 2 years experience working with children. Teacher helpers and infant/toddler caregivers need to have at least 2 years experience working with young children. Staff members regularly attend monthly staff meetings and team meetings, in-services, and CPR/first aid training. All of our staff has had their child abuse and criminal background clearances checked.

Upcoming School Closings

Here are the school closings and early dismissals for the months of February through June, 2012:

  • Thursday, April 5 – Monday, April 9, 2012: School closed for Easter
  • Monday, May 28, 2012: Closed for Memorial Day
  • Friday, June 1, 2012: Last day of school- no after school care available after noon.
